Life is something that happens when you can't get to sleep. ![]() Most of us spend a lifetime going to sleep when we're not sleepy and getting up when we are. One hour's sleep before midnight is worth three after. People who say they sleep like a baby haven't got one. Sleep away the years, sleep away the pain, wake tomorrow -- a girl again. ![]() Sleep is something that always seems more important the morning after than the night before. Some sleep five hours; nature requires seven, laziness nine, and wickedness eleven. Sometimes I wake up grumpy; other times I let her sleep. The amount of sleep required by the average person is usually thirty minutes more. The best thing to sleep on is a clear conscience. The good people sleep much better at night than the bad people. Of course, the bad people enjoy the waking hours much more. ![]() The only thing we like that's good for us is a good night's sleep! Those who think they are dreamers are usually just sleepers.
